I am brand new to the GoPro, and I, like many others I’m sure, was overwhelmed by the number of kits on Amazon. There are literally hundreds of kits claiming to be the best, but they all lacked something wanted. One would have everything but the monopod. Another would have it all except the floating hand grip. C’mon! I was growing tired and on the verge of giving up on the “perfect” kit when I discovered LifeLimit. They looked professional and seemed to include everything I wanted.
The package arrived quickly and on-time. The contents come in a nice, blue bag (see pictures). The bag is a nice touch that many other bundles lacked. It’s professional enough that I would take it out in public but also cheap enough that I won’t be sad if I leave it somewhere one day. Ha!
I opened it up to find the parts seperated into Ziploc bags, nice touch. As another reviewer noted, there is a hint of plastic-ish-sorta smell. It went away after a few hours of being out of the bag. No worries. Nothing was broken, and I was happy.
I have since used every item in this kit and can say it’s great! The suction cup mount is really strong and will make for some great shots in “awkward” places like your windshield or elsewhere. The head-strap is really nice. It WILL go large enough for your head, so don’t get frustrated if it is way too small at first. The chest mount seems really nice and has worked well so far. It has various adjustments and will accommodate most body-types. The miscellaneous pieces including screws, mounts, and adhesive pads all work.
The monopod is quite nice measuring at 8.5″ when fully collapsed and just shy of 43″ when fully extended. It is sturdy enough that I’ll use it and trust it with my GoPro, but I won’t be holding it off the edge of the Empire State Building. That’s for sure. It does have a strap that you can put around your wrist for added safety, which is a nice touch. The floating hand grip is a wonderfully visible and floats at water level no problem. Like the monopod, it has a wrist strap for added safety. It feels secure. I’ll be trusting it for sure. The handlebar mount is great and seems sturdy. It can be removed by taking out one screw, which is nice. There’s also this clamp with nice teeth on it that might be really helpful to some. I used it to attach my camera to backpack strap when I don’t feel like wearing a camera.
Overall, this is a fantastic kit that will make anyone happy. It has everything you need to get “started.” I say that in quotes because you still need a Micro SD Card and some batteries and maybe a case, but you get what I mean!

Pros: Just about everything you need to get started. Everything seems to be fairly well made. Comparable to GoPro parts. I priced carry bags and chest and head straps alone and they added up to about $45-50, so everything else is extra in my eyes.
Cons: No anti-fog inserts (seems goofy to leave these out with everything else included). Even though I didn’t show it in the video, putting all the pieces back into the bag in an organized order isn’t happening. With the camera and all the parts, it’s a tight fit. I forced it and tried to zipper it, and the zipper started to pull apart, so that’s gonna take some getting used to.
Overall, I probably would give it about 4.3 stars. Docking a bit for the inserts, not having labels, and the questionable repacking ability.
*** UPDATE AUGUST 19, 2015 ***
So, I wanted to updated my usage on this item…. I have really been using a couple pieces regularly without fail: The wrist strap (kayaking) which works pretty nicely, the spring loaded clip (perfect for the bill of a hat), and the selfie stick. All are really working nicely for me. One complaint… the zipper on the bag is broke already. So, it’s almost now completely not useable because everything falls out. So, I’m bummed about that.
The hard/padded case itself is too small to hold everything, so look to something else if you want to lug all this gear around. I just use my Burton backpack to carry it all in. The case does offer nice protection from bumps and maybe small drops. It’s in no way crush proof, so I will say a fall from over 10ft could do some damage to your GoPro.
The accessories are plenty. Tons and tons of stuff with this. I’ve used the chest rig, selfie pole, wrist strap, head strap, window suction mount, roll bar mount, hand float already while filming my 2 year old outside playing, swimming and driving his power wheels jeep. All of its held up really well. All the clamps work well. Overall I’m happy with it. Saved me a ton of cash over buying OEM parts.
One side note tho, the nuts that the thumb screws go into sometimes fall out. So just take a bit of Gorilla Glue with a toothpick and dab a little on it and they’ll be worry free after that. Thats the only minor issue I’ve had with this bundle of awesome. That and deciding on where and what to film with my GoPro. Have fun with it all, you’ll definitely enjoy using it.

Here are just some of the ways this selfie stick is better than others:
The bottom has a tripod attachment, so it can be used on any standard tripod, which is great for concert venues, games and other places where your seats might not be so good.
The extender piece is put together much the same way tripod legs are. You can clip it in place to use the extension length you need.
The shutter piece is removeable like a remote control and is Bluetooth enabled so you can use it even if you walk away from it. Great for set up group shots where you want to be in the picture but you want to use a tripod attachment with it, rather than with the selfie stick alone.
Takes about an hour to charge with any standard usb cable, and I was able to use it the whole day without it dying on us.
It’s sturdy, and comes with a professional carrying bag to keep it and all your accessories together for easy transport.
I haven’t found any cons yet, but if I had to be picky I’d say it’s a little larger (not a bad thing) so it’s harder to just throw in a purse to carry with me, however as I mentioned it comes with a carrying bag, so I surely don’t care.

I like that I can now frame my shots better and see what I’ve recorded. it adds some thickness to the camera but i’m not concerned about it. I’d only use to it line up shots and see how they came out. it doesn’t need to be on all the time… to conserve battery life. I don’t know how it effects battery life yet, but i’m not too worried about that. I use a telesin 1300mAh/4.81Wh aftermarket battery with the gopro hero 3+ factory(1180mAh/3.885Wh) battery as backup with my 3+ silver.
The package also includes a plastic protective case for when the lcd display is not in use.
The display does not look to be an HD resolution screen and does not zoom on playback.
You can delete media selectively. Whole groups of burst shots/individual pictures from the burst, videos, etc. instead of last/all.
