This cameras can be used as a security cam or as a baby monitor, or to control anything you like wherever you position it. If I install the app into both phones, do I use the same emails and passwords or do I need a different emails address and passwords?
I bought one of the camera but I don’t have the CD to install the software. What is the solutions?
Hi you should be able to use the same email and password for both. In case you are not able you should contact gearbest (if you bought it there) and write a comment in their product page, they usually answer rapidly.
How do these cameras allow for the video stream to be viewed from outside your home? Do they continuously upload the video stream to some server on the Internet?
I bought some of these cameras but am very concerned about security. If I can see the video stream from outside my local network what guarantees do I have that no one else can? Also, I wonder if these cameras can become a weak spot to allow someone to break into my local network.
Where can I find more information related to their system’s security?

These are the worst cameras ever made all 3 of mine constantly lock up every 3 to 5 hours for no reason. Hate this company
Half of the things wrote above is false. These cameras are crappy. The e-mail push doesn’t work. Not worth the money.
I bought on of these camera, but unfortunately you cannot view it everywhere. You will be able to view it only from home.
I have 2x SP012 cams setup in my house and I can view them when I’m at work by using my 4G data and on another WiFi spot, away from home.
These DO NOT output at 720P. You can view at 720, but you can only output or record at low res.
It supports onvif but not in 720p
How do I set up the camera to access it remotely by iPhone? I can access it while on the WiFi network, but not from away from the premises.
You need to turn Wi-Fi off on your phone once away from home, then I found it works really well.
This camera feels very cheap, but it did the job, however, I stopped using it because someone managed to connect to it from the Internet and started spying on me. I was curious as to why the camera was always facing the wrong location. Then one day while watching it through the Android viewer it said “Viewers: 2″… I was like WTF! When I went downstairs to see the camera, someone said “Hey what’s up”… I obviously freaked out, disconnected it and pumped the Firewall to max security on my router modem. Security-wise at least, this camera is just as good as it feels… very cheap and crappy.
Well, I set mine up (SP012) and it worked perfectly, and tbh if you choose not to change the default admin password thats your fault !
I can access mine from anywhere, for instance Im currently 145 miles away from home and can view and control it.
My only gripe is that i wouls have liked it to send me a snaphot if it detected movement rather than a email telling me it detected movement !
Pls help me. I have an SP007 and cant get it to work correctly. Ive been communicating with them but bad english and no resolve. Can someone help me
