The Chinese company Uhans, closely following its competitors’ actions on the smartphone market, has decided to enter into a still almost unexplored niche – the big phablets. And in this market comes the MAX 2, from many called “almost tablet”, with its large 6.5 inch display. But the screen is not the only surprise: this phablet is equipped with 4 cameras, 13+2MP front and 13+2MP back. Sold at a democratic price, let’s see how it behaves in reality, and test the performance of this brand new device.

Unboxing
As always we start our review of Uhans Max 2 with the unboxing: tha package is quite bare, there is the phone, a pin to open the sim slot, a charger and a microUSB cable.
Design
The body of UHANS Max 2 is completely metal and the phablet is available in two color variants: Black (Space Gray) and Gold (Champagne Gold). We have in our hands the Space gray model with the black front:
The back is very simple, with the dual camera in the center, a little bit raised from the surface:
Even though we are talking about a large smartphone (176.5 × 89.2 × 9.2 mm), the rounded edges allow a good grip and it is easy to hold in hand. But it is very HUGE, it’s wanderful to watch movies and play games, but not easy to transport in a pocket.
The weight of the model is 245 grams, where the dimensions were is 17.65 x 8.92 x0.92 cm.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the front panel integrated with the Home button and is very fast to unlock the phone.
To the right side, we can find the power button and the volume and the slot for 2 SIM cards or Sim card + micro SD. UHANS MAX 2 can accommodate two SIMs simultaneously, Micro + Micro SIM, and is dual SIM dual standby.

The UHANS Max 2 phablet comes with a 6.44-inch IPS FHD display with 1920 × 1080 resolution. The screen is 2.5D, curved along the edges:

Performance
UHANS Max 2 is powered by a Mediatek MT6750T chipset at 1.5GHz Octa Core and GPU Mali T860. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The octa-core processor will perform seamlessly even if you are playing high-end games or perform multitasking. Along with that, it also has 4GB RAM and GPU MALI -T8 60. The Max 2 have enough RAM to manage all of your running data without any lacking.
The performances of the phone are definitely not bad. When we tested the device on fast-paced games, the phone performed quite well and met our expectations.
The internal memory is expandable up to 128 GB! Besides, there is an internal storage of 64 GB which is a full hit. You can Store a heavy amount of music, games, apps, videos, and files.
The operating system is the latest version of Android: 7.0 Nougat and both user interface and icons are almost standard. You can also set your smartphone in English, Italian or other languages. Play store is pre-installed.

Nothing special, but not bad: a phone with modest performance, but considering that the Max 2 has four cameras and a huge display, UHANS Max 2 is not to be underestimated. Especially considering the cost.
Cameras
Talking about the cameras, UHANS Max 2 is equipped with four autofocus cameras. The 13 MP + 2 MP rear camera guarantees natural rendering and detailed images. The phone is therefore equipped with the Dual camera on the both Front and Rear as well, which is the rarest feature you will find in a budget smartphone.
And same resolution for the selfie front camera: 13MP + 2MP.
The primary camera will take vivid pictures, while the secondary one is for capturing more field of view.
The phone exhibits a good behavior in a General parameter and convinces the users with its 1080 Px recording feature. Although it lacks into Pro mode and certain common features, the hardware buttons are there to rescue you and best for executing the shoots. The amazing flash of the phone results in dedicated selfies and crystal clear pictures which outweigh the quality of expensive Smartphone.
The performances in low light are not so good, but it’s a common problem in budget phones.
Battery
UHANS Max 2 has a 4300mAh battery. According to official data, it allows us to watch up to 10 hours of uninterrupted video and to talk on the phone for 19 hours in a row. The charging port is the classic Micro USB.
The phone has stamina mode to reduce the consumption of battery power in need. If you use the phone consistently it will drain fast but on the normal use, it can easily survive for a day. Overall, we can say the phone has a nice battery backup.
Conclusion
